To perform a Cable Hip Abduction, stand perpendicular to the machine in front of the low pulley. Attach the cable to the far ankle using the cuff. Standing on the foot nearest the machine and holding to the machine’s bar, allow the far foot to come in front of your standing leg toward the machine. Extend that outside leg out to the side upward without bending until it is as close to parallel with the floor as possible. Return, allowing that foot to cross back in front of your standing foot.
